1. Trish Hutchinson Reiki is not liable for any claim, loss, injury or illness arising out of, or in connection with:

• (a) the Reiki treatments we provide;

• (b) your pre-existing medical or health conditions; or

• (c) any medication you may be taking (or have taken), except to the extent that such claim, loss, injury or illness is caused by our negligent conduct.

2. If you experience any discomfort during your Reiki treatment or begin to feel unwell, please tell your Reiki practitioner to stop the treatment immediately and contact your medical practitioner or health care professional as soon as possible.

3. You understand that:

• (a) Reiki is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation;

• (b) Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatments, prescribe medicines, nor interfere with the treatment of licensed medical professionals; and

• (c) Reiki does not take the place of the medical care provided by a physician.​

4. We recommend that you see your medical practitioner or health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment or reaction you may have.

5. You acknowledge that long term imbalances in the body may sometimes require multiple Reiki sessions in order to facilitate the level of relaxation and healing needed by the body.
